I am both proud and dispointed with this, proud that i finally was able to paint a portrait of Nero where you can obviously tell he is a machine (my poor little android)(too much detail >.< ) but dissapointed that throughout the whole time i was making it, i was at a loss for a decent background, giving it one of the old montage styles of randomness that just look... ick... i'm still slapping myself for it. Tell me what you think of it please 'cause i'm really not too sure if it.

The image itself shows a surreal relantionship between Knat and Nero who are parallel but connected characters in the story. If you can feel his scream then i have succeeded.

the more i look at this the more i wish to do a redo *shudders* background....

I can feel his scream......Whoa. O___O

Hmm....Background could maybe be better, yeah. You've got a lot of soft shapes and colors back there, but maybe that's conflicting with the sharp emotion of the piece. Maybe something simpler, and sharper.....What if you had it in very stark black, with something like an angular spotlight in the lower left, between the two characters, light and gritty with an airbrushed look....?

Perhaps..., it would definiatly improve it, if i find some time today i'm going to come back and redo this, i just got a bit tripped up because all the background work i've been trying to concentrate on has been so concrete, as if the place they were in they could substanceally move around in.., but i couldn't see them in this piece in a normal room or landscape, but yeah.., definatly going to redo this.... but first to complete this pesky english assignment... ick...
